Headphones - Which Model to Buy?

Post by 3000 on Sun Aug 20, 2017 2:57 pm

Greetings Admin!

I need to purchase new headphones (I am currently listening to mp3’s through headphones I purchased over 5 years ago and the headphones are "breaking down") and I need your assistance please.

I am considering one of these three models – could you please post which one is the most suitable?

http://www.sony.com.au/local/product/mdr-1abt
Frequency Response 4 Hz - 100,000Hz (when using the supplied headphone cable)

http://www.sony.com.au/electronics/headband-headphones/mdr-100abn
Frequency Response (Hz)     5-40,000 Hz (Power On) (Wired)

http://www.sony.com.au/electronics/headband-headphones/mdr-1000x
Frequency Response (Hz)     4Hz-40,000Hz

Very much looking forward to your response.

Thankyou!

Hey,

it was a huge issue for me some time ago - but I have found these:

ATH-MSR7NC
http://www.audio-technica.com/cms/headphones/70fcffbb14c297c5/index.html
5-40,000 Hz

ATH-MSR7BK
http://www.audio-technica.com/cms/headphones/9f55d2de9afd8f31/index.html
5-40,000 Hz

They are:

1. Small - so you don't look like a tank operator Smile

2. Afforable in price.

3. Very durable (no signs of damage after heavy usage).

4. Yes, they have removable wire.

I am not affiliated with Audio Technica, but I found thier headphones as the best as I ever had. It was recommendation made by my father that is also around music - and found them in magazine about professional music accesories.

They are available as well as in US, EU and other countries, area.

Just make sure - yours has at least 40,000Hz frequency response, and are wired. Good if wire is removable (wire is the part that damage much often).

The one I have - has 42,000Hz, Audio Technica has released different versions.

If I would preparing myself to ordering 1 of the three you are mention,

I would order these:

http://www.sony.com.au/local/product/mdr-1abt
Frequency Response 4 Hz - 100,000Hz (when using the supplied headphone cable)

and at the same time I would avoid listening public FM radio with them,

because I have discover and seeing it from about 2 years now,

that they [people that stands behind public FM radio] add subliminal messages to their broadcasts [but who knows, maybe very, very few of them].

2 years ago I heard it in adversing that was play via FM

[deleted]

so with such 100,000Hz I would avoid public FM radio,

but for music and subliminal / metaphysical mp3s would be ideally having such headset.

Thankyou for that!

More models to ponder, and they are less expensive compared to the Sony models!

I using Sony MDR-1A model (Frequency Response 4 Hz - 100,000Hz). Although it is pricey, but worth investing in it.

My experience : When I listen to Bliss Engine MP3s, using Sony MDR-1A headphone, I could hear some sounds that I could not hear when I used those normal headphones (Frequency Response 20kHz). Apart from that, the quality of the sounds are superb! And I could actually feel the energy radiant out over my body when using Sony MDR-1A headphone.

Nothing special, during Trump's election I have heard [in my Country] sublimnals in FM radio.

These are frequencies in range 1450-1550 Hz - most people don't hear them,

this tech is called as Silent Subliminals;

I don't use them in mp3s/audio at SMF.
